Default eBay question: Searching for ended auctions

How do you search ebay and find ended auctions to find out how much stuff has sold for?

For example. How much Burning Rangers has recently sold for.

    Thanks

Search for the item as you would normally, then select the "Completed listings" box on the left hand side under search options. You will then have to log in to ebay to get the search results.

They recently changed their search again. You will probably have to click the link "advanced search" in order to get the "completed items only" option to appear.

Moving this since there's nothing for sale here.

I do this all the time. Sometimes when I pay a lot for an item, I'll watch the following auctions hoping they will go for as much as I paid so the whole thing feels more justified

Another way to do it without logging in -

Save the item you're looking at, then go back to eBay, load up some random video game search, and replace everything at the tail end of the URL with the old item's number (the WWDV or whatever doesn't have any practical use). Good old fashioned URL hacking for that one; it works.

Or an easier way is to search that item # directly. wether its live or ended auction it will work unless its a few months old.
