Default Goodwill SNES Lot: The Return

So those lots of complete super nintendo games that appeared in goodwill's auction site about a month or two ago have come back....well, two of them anyhow. Guess the rediculous bidding left someone second guessing wether or not they wanted to pay ;D.

    omg return policy'D

Dang, that stuff's expensive. Especially since you can find Demon's Crest all over the place (I feel bad for Capcom on that count...)

Yeah... I guess the online version must be ran by formerly-jobless IT people that were down on their luck.

It's always been my understanding that the "Goodwill" in Goodwill is that they employ the dregs (halfhearted apologies to anyone offended), not that they sell to them.

Most of the shoescrapings of society that are employed by these companies are used not as clerks, but as cleaning crews. They are the ones that wash the used underwear, jeans, and anus beads, and make sure to put masking tape on the labels of videogames. Some of the fancier, more "creative" types make sure that a permanent marker bleeds through the tape onto the label itself.

Anyway, I am serious if somewhat facetious. Goodwill's charitable function is as an employer, not as a retailer. Pick up a flyer next time you are in. Look for anything spouting gay platitudes about "helping the helpless", or whatever. That's what you need to read. Then you understand Goodwill, and don't feel so bad about filling a $1 trenchcoat with undeclared Atari games, or urinating in the corner.
