How Long Have You Used Ebay?

Just for fun, I decided to look up my very first Ebay feedback comment, mainly to see when I started. It was longer ago then I thought...the first feedback was from later in the month of October...7 years ago. I figured I'd only been using Ebay for about 5 years.

My first 2 feedbacks were the same year on May 21 and 22.

i don't know and i can't check, but i think since somwhere 1999, when ebay started it's german department...

the reason i can't check? ebay banned my first account without a warning in advance and without a reason i know of, i had no negative feedback, no pending deals, nothing.... (actually i had 2 or 3 negatives but those were not for a good reason and were later revisioned by those people in the comments)

If you must know, yes... I'm collecting all of the GC exclusives.

You may not have noticed but I'm not just a gamer, I'm a collector. Sometimes that means picking up less than playable games to achieve a goal.

Ive been a member since Sept 24 1998.

Ive been around forever, but ive only got a small amount of feedback considering. I tend to hit eBay in waves, buying for a few months, and then not touching it for 6 months to a year.

Despite the account's age, I only have a rating of 38 (50 all together). My first eBay purchase was an original NES with loose copies of Castlevania 2, Astyanax, and Friday the 13th. After many years of being without NES, I used eBay to recover my childhood. :) I've sort of moved on to using a different account now (my boyfriend's), and it's from:

It just hit 50 today (58 including multiples from same people). :) I don't have the big bucks to spend tons on eBay, and I'm not the type to buy a million tiny little cheap things. My purchases are usually for a fair amount of cash. I actually spend much more elsewhere online from small stores and marketplace forums.

I hear ya... I make a point to leave feedback for every single person I do business with, so it annoys me when they don't leave feedback back. I don't even want to know how much feedback I'd have if I actually received it from every person...

I have had my own account for about 4 years now, and before that I was using my fathers account and that started in 1996 I think. I've been using it from just about the start. But I don't use it that much.
