Default Starfox Super Weekend Bomber Jacket Insanity!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=8134136953

That's the most I have ever seen it go for individually.

By the way there is also another one for sale that has been running almost concurrently. Wonder where it will end up?

First one looks like a possible shill to me (new bidder, registered after the auction starts, bidding in small amounts all the time, same country as the seller etc). Actual value on the jacket is no more than $100 to me.

They've forgotten that you could buy these out of the catalog section in Nintendo Power...or they didn't know...or they haven't cared to bring that to our attention!

Ouch...I be pretty disappointed hearing that if I paid that much. Were they exactly the same?

Exactly. Sometimes, it's even the same person (if they can get away with it).

I hope the winning bidder doesn't wear it out in public because "You might get beat up". What a dumbass! I don't think anyone whould even know what the jacket was if they saw someone wearing one in public. They would probably think it was just another nerd living in there mom's basement who really likes Nintendo.

the funny thing is: rpepper is right.

how many people will actually stop a person on the street wearing on of those jackets and say, "Hey! I like your jacket. Did you happen to be a high scorer in the Starfox Super Weekend Competition?"

Um, if he goes to a game expo, yes, but any other day, sorry bro, you just spent 225 on something that will stay in your closet for a long time.

I paid like $110 for mine and it is sitting in my closet.

Wonder if that same person who won that will bid on this starfox t-shirt?

OK, just to clear something up, I don't have any StarFox Competition Weekend jackets coming. Apparently I thought the way I had that written was funny, but it's not.

No deals for SFCW jackets here, sorry!

Why is it wrinkled? It looks like a cheap polyester jacket?

I have a jacket similar to that one except it has the Killer Instinct logo on the back instead of Starfox. I won it in a Nintendo KI contest. Does anyone know if it's worth anything?

Well, since those get virtually no press...I'd wager that's more uncommon than the SFW jacket. Yeah, if there was demand for it, that jacket could be worth more by a ton. As it is now, though...dunno if most folks would recognize it for what it is.
