    Default Weekday Finds, Oct. 4-8

Hey, hey, I get to start this thread this time! Woo-hoo!

    Got two items today...

Major League Baseball featuring Ken Griffey Jr. (N64)

    Miner 2049er (Atari 5200)

I actually already had a copy of Miner 2049er, but that copy was just loose. This one comes with the box, instructions and even the warranty card. Very cool...

I'd be very interested in a loose miner 2049er ;D. As for me, I shall be hunting later today after some auctions finish up.

Well i popped into Computer Exchange today and pre-ordered a copy of Pikmin 2 (out on friday over here)..

Whilst i was there i picked up a complete copy of "Freak Out" the treasure PS2 game for £5..

Hmm.. Very odd game yet very entertaning..

A nice one for the collection..

Does anyone think it'll be a future rarity? You know what treasure games are like..

Hellvin, feel free to make me an offer. That loose copy is one I actually outbid Zach Meston on a few months back...

BTW, it was just rereleased under Midas label. Fun game although it somehow feels a bit "incomplete".

Back on topic, another day with zero finds.

Well, it was on Sunday, but I found a weird N64 import call Neon Genesis Evangelion or something like that at a usually overpriced game store that had it cheap (I thought) for $10. Looks like a fighter or a shooter... the box is unclear. I'll try it tonight when I get home.

    Cheers

You got Evangelion for n64 for that cheap? Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but that goes for a pretty penny on ebay.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a anime series (very good as well! i love it!) so in my opinion, great find!

I was surprised to get it that cheap too since it's complete as well, but the box is in terrible shape (looks like someone farted on it and then left it in the sun and then rubbed the corners with sandpaper), the instructions are a mess, and the label has some doodling on it (stock number?). I have no idea how the box and instructions survived at all.

Still, it looks neat and I can't turn down an import N64 game that I might actually be able to play without understanding Japanese.

My luck of the day, I go cruising into a local pawn shop I haven't been too in quite a while, and he says Playstation games are 3 for 20 bucks. So looking through the stack, I find a complete Granstream Saga, Grandia, and lo and behold a copy of Layer Section II for Saturn (Import) and of course he assumes it's a Playstation game. Why in the world is a great import shooter for the Saturn in a pawn shop I don't know, but it's in my house now

well, I've heard of Evangelion before, but I don't know about the neon or the genesis except for the car and the sega console. I'm pretty new to anime. I just recently rented Ninja Scroll and plan on getting Ghost in the Shell my next go round. Perhaps I will learn something from the game?

    Cheers

Well I don't normally post in these threads but today was a good day for me.

    All loose:

    ToeJam and Earl (Genny): $2.70
    GunStar Heroes (Genny): $2.70
    Yoshi's Island (SNES): $2.70
    Ice Climber (NES): $2.70

I passed up Michael Jacksons Moonwalker and Mario All*Stars for the same price. Trying to cut down on game buying. Allready have All*Stars anyway.
