Hmmm.....I didn't mention this last time this popped up, but I don't think all hope is lost. If the game takes a Gungrave-esqe approach to 3D shooting, then we're all in for a hell of a game. Anyway, I can't blame SNK for trying to appeal to a broader market. As much as I hate to admit it, most people don't buy 2D games anymore. Godspeed SNK!!!!

I am not going to say the game is terrible, cause it could be fun. But it definatly will not feel like a Metal Slug game. WIll kinda suck actually.
Metal SLug is one of those games that needs to be 2D, that is what makes the series what it is.

Reminds me of how with Army Mean Sarges War they tried to make a serious war game. I guess trying to attract older/newer gamers (?) Ended up sucking.

I personally loved them but that's just a prefrence. You are missing the point of what I said. They took a series that had a cool theme/feel to it and completly tryed to change it. Which is what they are doing with Metal Slug.

It WILL NOT be metal slug, because its just not gonna be even close to the same, or even retain the feel of the greatness it was when it steps into 3D.

Metal slug is one of my very favorite series, and I have no problem saying this game will suck to no end.

I very much agree. 3D Metal Slug will be just another boring, crappy game thrown out there to make a quick buck. Piss on that game and any other 3D game of the like.
