Yea, it looks awsome!
It is just a more advanced version of the popular online game. It will be better looking and whatnot. It's a 2-d SideScrolling shooter.... so that makes it awsome already. Plus it is suppose to be a pretty funny game.
It is also coming out for PS2 if you preffer that system. I am definatly getting a cube version. I thought it comes out the 19th though?

Aww...no destructable buildings in the online game! Well, that's what the offline version is for! It's a bit bloody and almost mean-spirited, but that's gonna be OK. Intro is so silly :P
I also found it quite hard. Managed to get past the first boss every time I met him, but would have my last lives drained soon after ;_;
can't wait for it!
is it true that it is only 19.90?

This new trend of releasing games with a price significantly lower than the standard $50 makes joy surge through my left ventricule.
It's not even about the fad. The game wasn't very hard to make, and didn't take very long. It is a simplistic game (graphics and gameplay wise). They are a brand new company that wants to get there games out, and possibly stick around.Originally Posted by Dahne
It has nothing to do with a fad, just thinking buisness wise. This game would NOT sell for anything more then $30. I would say expect a price drop to $20 within a month or 2 also.

BLAST AWAY AND GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found it a bit hard as well, I hate gaming with a keyboard.Originally Posted by tholly
The game is indeed kick ass, I've been pimping it since it was announced. Now all we need is the sequel.
ALIEN HOMINID OWNS ALL. I just got it yesterday, and I was determined enough to beat it in the same day. For a 2D platformer, this game is HUGE! Sixteen levels overall, each one... I'd say roughly about the size of your average Metal Slug level. Speaking of MS, this game is a lot like it, what with death being really easy, but powerups are everywhere and there are all sorts of ways to kill the enemies... and what a bossfest! I love me bosses, and these massive hulks don't disappoint... impressive. BTW, was I the only one to think that the first phase of the final boss was a lot like the Super Soldier from Metal Slug? Heh... I give this game two thumbs way up, but be warned, it can be infuriating at times. Level 2-4 just plain sucks, I think. Such pain...
Teh Soviet Missle Mastar Game is teh rool! There is nothing quite like guiding an extremely primitive missile system to America and having the little Soviet guy cheer if he succeeds, and then, "PWNED" appears in giant letters. It's... amazing.
That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!

I finally picked up a copy yesterday - the last one in stock anywhere around here!
I haven't had the opportunity to put it in yet though - I also bought Neo Contra and Taiko Drum Master - I'm certainly looking forward to it, and I'll add my thoughts when I do.
I picked up the PS2 version. I'd file it under "Metal Slug Clone" for sure, mostly because of all the subtle humorous animations and stuff. The graphic quality takes a little getting used to. After seeing all these spectacular looking graphics, it seems a little odd to see a game made up of simple flash graphics on my television.
Ok, I have had this game since the day it was released and it's been getting some hardcore shelftime. Can anyone tell me how to beat the second level? I don't understand it.

So AH is a 2d Metal Slug clone? Sweet, more incentive to buy it then!
