Default Original Genesis games with Grid Case?

What genesis games have the original grid design for the genesis?

From what I know so far:

    Sonic, The hedgehog
    Ghouls N Ghosts
    Phantasy Star 2
    Altered Beast

Does someone have a more complete list? Or games to add ot the list? Its a little mini-collection I'm trying to make.

    Shining Force 1
Sonic 2, but the grid has some blocks colored in grey (checkerboard pattern)

Use the DP Online Rarity Guide to search for only the games from 1989. I think those are all grid cases and cross reference that list with the images at the Genesis Colective and Fors Yard. I've also noticed some 1990 published games with the grid design.

Revenge of Shinobi, the Euro Mega Drive version anyway.

I just noticed something odd: some cases are thinner than others. Yeah, almost EVERYTHING is thinner than PGA Tour Golf II, which has an insanely wide case (and a huge manual).

Anyhow, there appear to be variations in the grid brightness and scale of the squares.

    Bright grid, large squares:
    Golden Axe
    Herzog Zwei
    Forgotten Worlds
Castle of Illusion (grid is offset noticeably further along the spine than the other ones, and the Genesis logo is much bigger on the spine)

Smaller grid, varying brightness of grids:
World of Illusion (Barcode on spine)
    Kid Chameleon
    Golden Axe II

The funny thing is that - out of all these games - NONE of them have identical patterns on the grid. It's pretty messed up.

Probably can add Atomic Runner to that list.

I dunno what's up with my atomic runner or yours, but mine has a purple and black pattern with some white bar wrapping around the top.

I bet Crue Ball has one too (I just grabbed a handful of games to look at some spines for comparison, so I know I've got more).

Nope, Crue Ball is one of EA's games, with the large assed case and unique symbols. That particular one has a pinball with a wing symbol.

There are box shots in some of the ads at Fors Yard but I imagine the genesis collective will be much more helpful.

    example

Plus these guys have already come up with a pretty nice list.

I recall the game "Zoom!" having that kind of box.

Edit: ...and "Slaughter Sport" and "Rambo III".

If I had a bit more time I could come up with a definitive list of PAL games in the black-boxes. I'd guess that there's something like 100-150 of them.
