    Default I LOVE ebay!

I got rid of all kinds of crap that's laid around for the last 10-20 years

Sold Driver 3 cause it sucked - for $53! - making a profit!

Got rid of some junk for my mother & father.

    Ebay is a great invention.

I too have much love for eBay. In the last year I have made over 3000.00! That is a nice chunk of change.
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!

I tried selling stuff, but I never make that much. What sells? Any suggestions for making a nice amount of cash?

Is it better to sell items (such as neckties) in sets or seperately?

It's easier to sell stuff that is small in size (cheap to ship) but in high demand
    - games
    - videos

Stuff that people want to try before they buy - like suits, ties, shirts - don't sell well at

Stuff that is bulky and expensive to ship like fully assembled model airplanes are also a bad idea. I lost money on that deal because shipping was $150!

Stuff that is pop-oriented like music or books don't sell well at all. You're lucky if you get 50 cents

Actually MAKING mone on ebay is hard. I think most people that say they make money on ebay actually means they sold their old junk they bought for 50 dollars for 40 dollars or whatever. It's not actually MAKING money.

I've earned money off dirt-cheap bankruptcy or clearance games ($3) which sell for $10, And also sports titles. Sports fans will pay outrageous amounts of money to get the latest 2004-5 versions

Condition matters too. Don't advertise "used" cause you'll get very little. Buyers think used= not working = don't buy.

Advertise "like new" or "sealed new" for the best prices

I have been monitoring necktie auctions--it seems that some brands will sell, others wont.

I wish I could make some $3000 on Ebay. So videos are good? Like VHS? or DVD? How much do you usually list them for? I know a few places where I can get these suckers cheap.

I bought about 20 copies of Fallout 1+2 from a local store, and have sold them on ebay. They have been going for around 10-49 dollars. Free money = good.

I love ebay for a very odd reason:

I like looking up auctions for stuff I used to own (like old toys) just for the pictures. Nothing beats seeing old pictures of toys like STARRIORS or AIR RAIDERS (and even some first generation Transformers).

    Ebay pictures rock!!
