How much are you asking for Vampire Killer? I'm just a bit curious, I've been wanting it for awhile but I don't have a great deal of money. So if you want to let me know how much you want I'll thank about it, or if you might want to trade check out my trade page, there's a link in my signature. Good luck with the MSX system, if I end up getting Vampire Killer I'll need one as well!

In the last few weeks, two complete copy have been sold for close to 50US$. I'm asking 35$ shipped for my loose copy, good price if you consider the rarity of the thing.

Whoever, I will look in your stuff in case you got thing that i need, so a trade is also possible

Hmm...that's a European Vampire Killer cart. Not sure of the rarity of that compared to the Japanese one (which I recently bought for $20 loose). I'd imagine the Euro variety is less common by a good deal.

Well, it's not exactly the same game. Might be a fair price.

Yep, looks like I'm in the same boat now! I'm buying the game and need an MSX2 system also. Any idea around what they sell for? Do they work fine on an American tv? By the way I love the Castlevania avatar, best series ever in my opinion!

Find a cheap one on eBay. There's lots of cheap ones to be found in Japan but then you have to pay S&H.

Thanks, I'll be certain to keep an eye out for one on ebay, if I watch em long enough I'm bound to get one cheap. Though I'll have to climb my way out of current debt first! Ah well, I've been wanting this game for a long time and can't wait to play it. I guess I should start figuring out what else in the MSX library I'd be interested in.

By cheap, though, I mean like $30 cheap for the bare unit. Needs cables too.

Ahh, do you know what kind of cables it takes? Would an nes rf unit work, with a universal power supply maybe? Do you know if it uses a special joystick? Hmm, maybe I'll have to keep an eye out for one with all the accessories, any idea what one of those usually sells for? Thanks for the info!

I have a MSX2 unit. I'll check out that stuff if I can find my unit in my pile!

I do know that mine came with its own joypad (really primitive - like an NES controller, but only with d-pad and two buttons) and a HEAVY power supply.

Thanks, the joystick sounds like a Master System pad. Anyone know if this is fully compatible with American t.v.'s?

I found a website selling a bare MSX2 system for $19.99, not a bad deal! I would go ahead and get it but I'm still unsure where I'd find the parts. Here's the link

I bought a really nice MSX2+ from that guy; there's a very similar one if you feel like dropping some cash.

See the Uber MSX2? The one with 256K of RAM and the video editor on top? I wish that was the one I'd bought. Turned out it sold for less on eBay, and I had been saving up for it too! Ah well, Lawrence has given me a bunch of great deals.
