    Default HELP!!! SNES Collection

Hi, I just started collecting SNES games, and I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what to put them all in, for I am going to try and collect all 800+ of them. Thanks!!

I'd go with a room. Or failing that, an especially large box.

A couple old hats should do the trick. The more they're holding together, the better.

My super secret advice~! -old shoe boxes are OUTSTANDING by the measure of the previous advice I gave! It's not an exciting storage option, but it works and it'll help you save those precious pennies for SNES games. I've found that many shoe boxes will fit boxed SNES games, and some fit boxed Genesis stuff as well.

if you have the money/time to bother and collect all 800+ games, wouldnt you rather just build soemthing nice to display your games in???? i dont see why you would collect them all, and then shove them in some kind of container so that they wouldnt be shown off.

yes, the room of doom section is a good place to go for ideas. IMO if you're gonna have 100's of games the only proper way to display them is shelves

I measured and made a book shelf that so that each shelf would hold two games high in the box and like 20 wide. I wish instead that I had made more shelves only high enough for 1 game (I put the long end on the shelf) because it is hard when you are stacking them 2 high to get one out without messing up the others. It is also hard to put them in order. I put my really cool displayable games on the top.

If you are planning on collecting them cart only then something else would be better. I have several of the game cases to hold my games in but not 800 of them! Only about 200. It is really mixed up with all of them looking different.

I store all my games in dust free stackable tupperware. I have a display in a wall in my living roomw here I keep my SMS collection as the box art and system are great for conversation starters.

My SNES games are on a shoe rack. One of those freestanding, wall mounted shoe racks. I think I got it at Target. It holds like 200 games. It works perfectly for my needs. The other thing you could try is a cd rack/shelf. I prefer to display my collection. I mean, if I'm going to spend all this money on games, at least I can scare women away from me by displaying them right?
