    Default Spinning Wario Ware

Anyone know if this is planned for US release?

Titled "Mawaru Made in Wario" in Japanese, the game translates to "Spinning WarioWare Inc." in English. Appropriate to the title, the new WarioWare game is played by turning, moving around, and tilting the handheld device itself. The attached sensor picks up the GBA’s movement and relay it into the game. As such, the new WarioWare makes no use of the handheld's directional pad. Mawaru Made in Wario includes a total of more than 200 brand new

Sounds like another game that uses the same tech as Kirby's Tilt & Tumble. I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to bring it out here, I'm pretty sure the first Wario Ware sold well enough to warrant it.

    GAMES.

whew. took me a while to spit that out. It was, uh, halloween themed. I wanted to keep everyone in heart-stopping suspense of the last plot twist in the synapsis. Did I scare ya?

Sounds like a cool gimmick. If it's for GBA I'll try it out. I still need to play the first Wario Ware.

You could always import it since out of 200 mini games I doubt that more than 5-10 would actually require knowledge of the japanese language (I wish that site that listed japanese gba games and there playability by non-japanese speakers still updated with current games) and japanese gba games have so much nicer packaging anyway.

Interesting.. if it does use some kind of rolling mechanism, I wonder if it has an in-game option to specify whether you're playing it on a regular GBA vs. a GBA SP since the cartridge orientation would be different.

That's correct, since it was manufactured with the load-from-the-top GBC in mind.

They'd certainly reposition the sensor so it would work in an SP.

Although that makes me wonder how it would work in a standard GBA...

@slip81: but of course I wear a disguise. I don't want someone pointing out the fact that I am a giant CHICKEN.

I played that game the first time around when it was called "keep tilting your GBA every which way to try and see what's on the screen."

AH BUT NOW IT KEEPS SCORE!

Seriously though, I'd probably pick it up if it comes stateside. I bet it will ask you in you've got a GBA or SP when it boots up BTW...

Kirby Tilt N Tumble WORKS on the SP, but everything is backwards because the sensor expects to be above the screen and facing the other way. They could easily make it work on both if they want to. It can probably tell which type it's in through code, and if not it could ask.
