IIRC Deep WAter was an in-house team just for the EC development
They also did Xperts but that's still EC-related.

as far as i know EC only made it to sega CD after the genny version

Thanks for the help guys. I just contacted a source I have who knows the producer for the EC series. Hopefully I'll be able to get in contact with him and score some info.
