This isn't anything special, but I'm just super excited. I found Final Fantasy III complete for 15 dollars. I've been questing for that game an awful long time, and I'm so happy I have it now. Oh, and I got MegaMan 6 for free with it

Damn, I wish I found that...
Bastard ;-)
*Nice pickup though *
Cool find. Glad to hear you got it, and at a good price as well. I'm still looking for my dream game (EVO, WTF are you????)

Sweet find, I'm still looking for a copy of FF2.

Wow awesome find for a just as awesome price.
It is always great to get what you have been looking for.
FF3 is a ton of fun. Good luck to you while playing.
Damn good deal though!!!
My dream game is coming soon from leonk
A new updated Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES. It has updated player rosters and player ratings are adjusted and I get to play it on my original NES thanks to leonk. I can't wait to play it. Glad to hear you found your dream game.
It's not necessarily the fact that you found FF3 that wows me......but the fact that you found it in complete form is always reason to break out the happy dance! I just found Exodus Ultima for NES....still SEALED, for $4.
I live for good condition/ near mint completes. I primarily collect N64....and with MOST of the games originally being sold to the younger gamers, it can be challenging to find completes.........box, instructions, cart, AND any extra Nintendo Power/ strategy guide advertisement forms that were included. Most people threw those away upon opening the box.
Yes, very awesome find. I got mine for around $35 or so, and would have gladly paid even more---excellent game.
Well, if he got Megaman 6, I'd assume he's talking about the SNES version.Originally Posted by leonk
I myself don't talk about Final Fantasy games with the US designation, partly because I never got around to really understanding it ;)
I quit on trying to get the extra pack-ins. It was driving me insane. I consider games to be complete with manual + box + any special extras that pertain to the game.Originally Posted by jdc
No joke: FF2 and FF3 - boxed but no manuals - were at my local thrift this week for only $7.99 apiece. Did I buy them? Nooooo ....Me, "Mister-not-really-into-SNES" had to go back home first to check if they were teh rare or not. Figured I'd use `em for tradebait if they were.
Enlightened...I went back the next day before they opened and those puppies were gonzo!
Congrats Joelius, and enjoy. I'm glad somebody got a deal on FF games this week.
Thanks everyone. I just had to share my joy with the rest of the board
Congrats!
It seems like every time I've found a "dream game," there's another one I'm looking for. Then again, maybe it's just that I've had quite a bit of them.
First, it was Chrono Trigger for the SNES. Then Super Mario RPG. Then it was Spanky's Quest for the SNES. Then it was Rock N' Roll Racing for the SNES. Then it was OutRun for the Genesis.
Now it's Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for the SNES.
My search never ends.
