    Default Weekend Finds: 10/23 - 10/24

PSX - Breath Of Fire III (complete) - 14.99

Probably going to start playing this tomorrow, after I hit some garage sales and maybe the swap since I haven't been there in a WHILE.

    Good luck to everyone!

Hunting for games has been very uneventful lately so no real finds here. Hopefully today though since I'm back in my old home town and at least here I can walk into a pawn shop or thrift store and not be able to list its complete inventory of games off the top of my head.

You sould of checked at cicuit city. I got a brand new copy there for 4.99. Anyways, nothing yet but front mission 4 at target for 30. Wasn't really a steal, but whatever I wanted to get it for awhile now.

Walked to school to submit an assignment that was due friday arvo (stupid cd-burner turned started making coasters) but found out the particular building i had to go into wasnt open on weekends :/

Anyway, on my way home i walked past an op-shop and saw a box of Mega Drive games in the window and got:

F117 Night Hawk (Genesis)- no manual
    686 Attack Sub- complete
LHX Attack Chopper (PAL Mega Drive)- complete
Buck Rogers (PAL Mega Drive)- no manual

    All $3 each

Buck Rogers is surprisingly good, and easy to play without the manual

Well, I spent over my weekly limit this time, and even though I got some stuff I've been wanting, I'm kinda bummed cause I can't spend any money this week...or next week if possible.

Dreamcast Games - 1.00 each, all complete unless noted.

Grandia II - missing bonus music CD
    Aerowings
    Shadow Man
    Illbleed
    Super Runabout SF Edition
Tony Hawk - All Stars Edition
    UFC: Ultimate Fighting Championship
    ECW Hardcore Revolution
    NFL Quarterback Club 2000

And I FINALLY got a Laserdisc player, God I've been wanting one for a while, because they kick ass.

    Laserdisc Player (Pioneer I believe)
    10 Laser Discs - here's what I remember offhand

    12 Monkeys
    Aliens Collectors Edition
    Babe
    Braveheart (sealed)
    Mission Impossible
    Goldeneye

    and 4 others.

Paid 41.00 for it all, talked him down from 50.00, but I think I got a good deal considering I've never found another and I don't have to pay eBay shipping.

    Jennifer Love Hewitt - Let's Go Bang CD - 1.00 :/

So im spent out, but happy! Going home to watch Aliens tonight.

Welcome to my world, I hate it so much when this happens! Within 2 months this wont ever happen to me anymore though, but I also wont be getting much becasue of no garage sales.

    In mail today from Ebay

Phantasy Star III (CIB) - $9.70 after shipping
We saved some guy's life. Killed some vicious murdering lichs and blew up something big. I'd call that a pretty good night.

again blockbuster pulls through with a super crazy, amazing deal:

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time [complete] (Ps2) - 14.99
Pokemon Colloseum [complete] (GC) - 6.99 (before deal)

They have buy 1, get 1 50% off, so I paid $3.50 for Pokemon Colloseum. I have the receipt, and it ended up that the game was marked wrong, it was supposed to be 39.99, but somebody put a 6.99 sticker on it. Since it only had 1 price sticker on it, they had to give it to me at that price (if it had 2 or more, they could have tried to charge me 39.99 saying that I put the 6.99 sticker on it). I have the receipt, and I looked at it, and I saved 33.00 on that game. I will probably go back today and get NBA Ballers, since they did the same thing with that, but the game is supposed to be 29.99, but it is marked at 12.99.

    Awesome!

That's how I got a new Animal Crossing a few days after release day for 35.00....and about 10 PS2 games for 6.00....that's a long story though.

Not a find, but I did buy a pair of XBox titles today...

    Midway Arcade Treasures 2

    MVP Baseball 2004

The funny thing is I got a pair of XBox titles a week ago for $20 each and one of them was the ESPN baseball title...and I've yet to play that. I guess I'll be a video game switch-hitter The other game I got with it was Spider-Man 2...
