    Default Atari VCS modification

opened my 2600 up to fix the 1st player controller port and noticed where the rf plugs into the main board is like the end connector of a standard nes rf switch. too big to fit in there right but does anyone else use that as a way to bypass the dumb connectors and stuff?

hmm maybe if i drilled a hole straight up from that part out of the housing...

The RF signal coming out of the Atari 2600 (4 switch) will not switch the NES RF box. OR at least mine wouldn't. I tried the same thing when I baught a 2600 with a ripped out cable that I used to get the guy to sell it to me for cheap. I had to just add another RCA cable. I'm currently waiting to score a quality wood grain 2600 to modify to S video or Composite. no reason to modify my current 2600 as it's just a black one that isn't quite mint.
