I will obtain a Gamecube tomorrow
The only other next-gen system I've got is a Playstation 2. The first games I'm getting will be the Sonic Mega Collection and Mario Sunshine, and I will most definitely get a platinum 'Cube. The XBox looks like some killer games will be hitting it, soon (Psychonauts; Ninja Gaiden), but I don't have the money. Maybe I'll get that in a few years when I can get it ultra-cheap and used.

If you plan to go online with XBox, becareful with the used XBox. If it was previously modded and went online, it could have been banned for good and I don't think M$ would unban any XBox even if it's under new owner and without mod chip. It'd still be fine for offline play only.
Get used XBox only from a place that has a return policy and not from an AS-IS source.
