Greatest game of all time.
Greatest game of all time.
Newish School:
Civilization (well III now)
Wario Ware (particularly Dr. Wario)
Tony Hawk (series)
Columns
Katamari Damacy
Super Smash Brothers
DDR (I don't get tired of it, but it does make me tired... does that still count)?
Old School:
Robotron
Sinistar
Venture
Lock n' Chase
Pepper II was a damn good answer... yeah, that game is mad fun.
Call of duty online, Im totally addicted to online FPS games, cant help myself !!
Warlords (2600) How could anyone tire of this game, especially when youve got a few mates to play with. (Got a warlords cocktail en route from Maryland to the UK as an early xmas present to myself..... happy times !! )

Putting the replay value aside, I would have to go with either nights, contra 3 or mario allstar.
Tradegamesnow and GameTZ feedback.
Tempest 2000 & 3000. I'll probably be playing them for the rest of my life

I second that in a heartbeat.Originally Posted by Dr. Morbis

One more retro one....
I recently found a copy of Crystalis (with instructions, no box) and finally popped it in tonight. The save feature still works!!! I have a feeling that I'm going to name this one as my favorite NES game thus far.
-Strikers 1945
-Metal Slug
-Magical Drop 2
-Any Street Fighter/King of Fighter games
Best. Game. Ever.

Excellent topic *moves to the "classic" forum*
Almost every system has a game like this for me. The first one that comes to mind is Streets of Rage (any version, really), I can play a level or two or even the whole game, anytime, anywhere. Others are Tempest 2000 (and its dark brother, Tempest X), GTA3 (and its successors), Bomberman (series), Beach Spikers, and it seems now Burnout 3 will join that elite group
Perfect Dark (N64)
Sega Rally Championship (Saturn)
Soul Calibur (DC)
Tetris DX (GBC)
Something tells me I'll be playing these 'til the day I die.
Honestly, two old school games are always near the top of the pile to always be played (and on multiple systems!)
Ms. Pac_man and Centipede (with the trackball of course!)
Be sure to check in on J2Games.com!
Oh! And of course Stunt Race FX (SNES).
The Legen of Zelda for the nes. I can beat that and start all over again without tiring of it
"Please help me as I am attempting to (re)gain my (in)sanity."
GTA 3
Vice City
San Andreas
Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain (Yea I know its stupid.)
Deff Jam Fight for NY
Metroid for the SNES - I can beat this in 1 sitting.. love this game.
Final Fantasy 3(6) - I think this game has one of the best openings ever in FF history.
Ico - enough said.
Grand Theft Auto - from 1 on my PC to San Andreas on my PS2. I love seeing how long I can avoid the cops.
Alpha Centauri - My wife hates it when I play this game. Way too addictive. Nothing like defending against a Hive invasion, getting airpower, and blowing them into the stone age.
Kid Icarus - if I still had a copy, I know I would play this almost non-stop.
In reverse chronological order (although I'm probably missing some):
GTA III trilogy (San Andreas is calling me right now)
Katamari Damacy
Battlefield 1942
Morrowind
Advance Wars
Perfect Dark
Super Mario World
Joust
Astro Warrior
Altered Beast
Pitfall
Soul Calibur
DC--- It's STILL thinking....!!
I cant stop playing quake 3 for pc. Been playing it for an average of 10 hours a week since it was out in 1999,
