Default Funky Quickshot VII joypad - anyone seen?

This was an obscure little joystick find for me today - a Quickshot VII. I know that, generally speaking, joysticks aren't exactly big rarities, but I was wondering if anyone had any information on this one. It's funky and I'd never seen one like it before...

That's the only real link to anything I could find about it. Kind of spiffy, anyhow...

It's look like a pointing device ( a mouse for short), probably for C64, VIC20 or Amiga (if it got a 9 pins connector)
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.

Well, this morning, I decided to stop being lazy and just try the sucker out!

It's a 9 pin, so I went with the good 'ol Amiga 2000, and it did in fact operate fine in place of my standard mouse. That was good enough for me...

But, since all these 9 pin devices tend to be interchangable, I plugged it into the 2600 next. Turns out that this little pointer/joypad/whatever is excellent for playing games like Missile Command and Centipede (ie: trackball stuff.)

So yeah, it's a nice little control device thing. Everyone should have one.
