Nope. There is a card that came with NP that lets you get a ZELDA design in the game. Lots of noobs get that confused with the zelda game.

Buy an Action Replay or become a lazy bitch and don't buy an Action Replay...so you can't get Ice Climber, Zelda, Super Mario Bros. Punch-Out, or Mario Bros. (83')
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

i think you should give it a try,i have never found a game as addicting as this one.it seems like it will be forever till the sequel come sout but ill be fine taking breaks at work playing the DS version.i will admit watching someone play it is not exciting at all.

Actually, Ice CLimber and Mario Bros. can be obtained through e-cards from the American 4th series.

Oh, and there is one other way to get the games... I'm not going to go into very much detail, but I got mine from someone in Columbus (Ohio) who used a GCN/USB memory card to hack a Japanese save that had those 5 NES games into an American game. Trust me, you're not going to find many other people who got the "forbidden 5" before I did from that guy in January 2002.
    Egbert, I miss you...

I was under the impression those ones were gotten on that stupid island somehow, you had to meet a lot of pre-req's and dance like a monkey for them, but you CAN get them. I believe Zelda and Punchout were supposed to be nintendo exclusives that you could only get through them somehow, but they never got around to doing the contest/code/whatever.

The retro games are easy to get with regular gameplay. You just have to put in a lot of time.

I really hope the sequel adds more replay value. I think that if your house was bigger and had more decorating options it would add so much to the game. I got to a point where I had done everything I wanted to do with the game and didn't see any reason to keep playing it, which was a shame becuase it was great while it lasted

I wonder what AC would be like if you could live in something more like a house than a studio apartment...

The only two reasons I'll be paying for a DS new is Mr. Driller and AC... I won'der what kind of special things they're thinking of putting in the DS version, anyone know? More NES games to get, or a bigger town, or maybe hookers?

which reminds me, those two E-Reader cards are very rare, the Mario Bros. card is worth about $13-15 by itself from what I have seen on Ebay sadly

That's what irritates me about Nintendo lately, they hide all these things in games and say they'll tell us how to get them later on, and then they never do. (like the stoopid 3rd and 4th e-Card series for Mario Advance 4)
