PSO ver2 serial #'s

Is there a place to get a serial number for this game? I bought it for 2 bucks at pawn shop. No serial number in sight. I know that in this vast web of information, there is a site where I can attain a #. Sadly, this is on the GameCube, but for 2 bucks I really want to play this. Can you help me?

Fairly sure some versions will work if you just throw in all 0's or such, dunno about playing it online though.

edit: did you buy it loose? the GC version's serial is on a sticker inside the case.

No, can't play online. That's over but it work anyways, yes I am an idiot and listened to a schmo at gamestop: "You can't play it w/out a serial number! You're screwed, man!"
