    Default Everquest 2 is out

Just mentioning, I'm on the befallen server. They've opened up about 8 more servers since launch (2 the first day, 6 the second I think)

This is by far the cleanest MMORPG launch I've ever seen. My server crashed once since I started playing and was back up almost immediately. Compare that to most MMORPG's not even being playable for a couple days with TONS of rollbacks, bugs, and glitches.

Looks like Sony is doing a REALLY GREAT job with OUT OF GAME support as well. They're charging of course, but for $1 a month extra you can get your own guild website/message board/photo hosting/personal page, etc... etc... You pick the options, and it's like $.99 for each option.

Yeah, it's a bit of a ripoff, but if you don't own webspace and are only using it for EQ2, $1-$4 a month extra ain't bad.

i never got into mmorpg's because you had to pay to play online. how much does it cost for eq2, compared to games like lineage 2, sw: galaxies and stuff like that?

The first 6 months they had a $99.99 play for LIFE option. Then Sony moved in and told those people who had paid the life money would get a year from that date lol.

Then it was $9.99 a month or 24.99 for 3 months or something. $14.99 a month is more then the $12.99 EQ1 players were used to. oh well..

I'd like to try this game out, but if you have to pay $14.99, and it's as repatative as City of Heroes I'm gonna have to pass. Anyone know of a place that describes all of the different things you can do in the game?
