Which one I should get first for Gamecube? I haven't played either one, so I'm clueless in gameplay of the two. I have Mario Tennis for N64, but idk if the Gamecube one is the same or better.

The two tennis games are pretty similar. GCN game just has better graphics. I would buy it before Mario Golf though because I think tennis games are more fun, but the Mario Golf game is definitely good.

I'd go for Tennis. Great fun. Not very much into many golf games.
I have only played golf. But from screenshots, videos, and knowledge of both games i would say go with Tennis. It seams alot more powerups, and exciting gameplay. Although mario golf is fun, it is a rather slow game.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text
get tennis instead of golf. i just like tennis better and golf isn't bad either

I'd hold out for Mario Bocce Ball or Frolf!
Definately get Tennis. The old one was good and i own golf and am not satisfied with the 17 bucks i spent on it right now.
Maybe with alittle more poractice though...
I agree with getting Tennis first if you do not already have Golf on the GBA. Get Golf some other time, though, as it's cheaper and still fun--just not quite as fun
Egbert, I miss you...
Well. Both of them are great fun. But I think you will get a little more replay value out of Tennis. The golf is cool too, but there isn't enough competition(or as much as Tennis has).
That'z for the replies. I'll buy Mario Tennis as soon as I have $. I gotta get so many games, it'z not even funny.
Yea go for tennis. Ive played both and I think Tennis is better. I think the game has better gameplay and better replay value. Just my two pennies..
I'd get Mario Golf.
Mario Tennis is fast paced. I keep a golf game around for when I want a slower paced game where you still have to plan and think.
Dude, I would die for a Mario Bocce game. I played bocce in a league last year (Can't now b/c I moved). But that game rules, and Mario Bocce would be hilarious.Originally Posted by esquire
Frolf, as in fisbee Golf? That would be awesome too, but all of the player's eyes would be bloodshot and would each have to be holding a 40, dunno what parents would think about that ^_^
I'd go for Tennis.
I really think that Mario Tennis is really well fit for the Big screen (TV) and I also say that Golf, is much better as a portable game (Mario Golf Advance Tour)
I have both games and LOVE both. I am more a tennis person in real life so that's maybe why I like the MarioTennis game better.
Get both, alot of places have MarioGolf for only $20. The other places are $30.
But yea, both games are awesome and whatever one you pick you will not be dissapointed!
