Default When will emulation on the DS begin?

At what point do you think we will be able to play our emulators on the DS.

I'm not talking about playing a GBA Flash Cart with a emulator and roms on it, but playing it on a DS, I'm talking about a "new" DS Flash Cart that can have a "new" DS optimized emulator on it and roms.

This system should definitely be plenty powerfull enough to run SNES in full speed no problem.

Maybe even N64 emulation on this?

    hmmm.

When it comes to unemulated systems, I usually say "don't hold your breath," but the speed with which Game Boy Advance emulators makes me wonder....

I am sure some people started today...

I'd say a year from now - maybe something buggy in 6 months.

All you need for a "Touchpad" is a click and drag mouse option.

Playing emulated n64 and snes games on the DS would kick soo much ass. I would buy a DS just for that. It would be incredible. I think it will take a while though. I am going to say 2 years for something to come out.

    Arcade Punchout emulator anyone?

That, and a playchoice 10 emulator would be cool.

Holy crap it's PERFECT for Punchout. Being that they never did a GBA game, maybe someone at Nintendo wil realize it's a perfect fit and make a new Punchout?

OK, so it will never happen, but I'm allowed to dream damnit.

Now that I think about it, It would make for a very intresting boxing game if the touchpad is used. I have only played with the DS for like, 15 minutes, but it was really cool. My friend bought one with Mario and hes going to let me play it tomorrow. Sweet.
