Default A Different DC VGA trick

Felt like messing with some non VGA enabled DC titles. And theres another way to get them to work, rather then the standard unpluging and repluging the A/V cable.

Just do the CD swap trick. Just run a boot disk (Game sharks work too). Insert the non vga game (Like Bust-A-Move 4). And now your VGA ready.

Not shure if anyones tried this before so I thought I'd spread the word.

Whoa, that's awesome! Does it work for everything you've tried?

*gets ready for HYDRO THUNDER, previously unplayable with VGA*

Hydro Thunder works and looks great! I wonder why it wasn't enabled in the first place?

Other games have graphical issues, JOJOs bizzarre Adventure does something well bizzarre....... the game is squished and streached.

Oh and KOF 2000 looks like crap. UGH.

Does this happen with all methods of VGA connecting, or only if you use a dedicated VGA cable?

I have a VGA box for my main game monitor, and have all my major consoles plugged ito it via component A/V wires (As you would to a TV if you weren't using scart or RF)

I also connect my consoles to my PC monitor through my TV input card of my PC, using the same component A/V connections...

So would either of these types of connecting be a problem? Or is it only if the DreamCast is connected straight to the monitor?

Theres no problem with that set up, BUT you wont get VGA quality out of that set up.
