Nope. I looked at the Japanese title for the game on IGN earlier today; GameFAQs should have it as well. Also, to the best of my knowledge Irem has never had a Gundam game.Originally Posted by Crush Crawfish

Metal Storm = great. BTW, R-Type fans, watch for the *something from R-Type 1* cameo when fighting the Stage 7 boss (at least I think it's stage 7's boss, but I could be wrong).
That Mech on the Box art of Metal Storm reminds me of the Super Suit in Keith Courage in Alpha Zones for some reason.....

Well, in theory, it would be A boss in stage 7, since you re-fight the previous six bosses all over again. But it's actually the stage 6 boss.Originally Posted by Dire 51
Hehehehehehe... and I know JUST what you're talking about. Its color is different, but an infamous R-Type enemy is VERY apparent in the background of the stage 6 boss.
How could I fail to notice that? I had to fight that damn boss about six times or so. >_<
That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!

Stage 6's boss it is then. That shows you how long it's been since I've played the game. Thanks, Mike.Originally Posted by Sotenga
I'm fairly sure that all Gundam games are done by Bandai. Every single one I've seen so far has been anyways.Originally Posted by Ed Oscuro

cool to see this topic revived. (I missed it back when)
I am still looking for this game, but in no rush. It's cheap, I see it around cart only for $5 but the copy's dirty as hell. No biggie... I'll get a copy eventually. Looks like a sleeper of a game.
Man, where were you guys when that TOP 100 NES Games list was in the works?
All it needed was 1 vote!
I picked up a complete copy of the game a couple of years ago on eB. Paid WAY too much for it in a bid war; and I'd never even heard of it.. but the cover made me want it.. badly. Mmmm.. Mecha!!!
Once I played it.. it reminded me of Metal Warriors for the SNES (I already had); but neither are related and I guess it would have been the other way around in chronological order.
I got this game in the mail a few days ago. Irem came up with another winner when they made this game. The gravity shifting rocks. The thing I dislike is the one-hit-kills. I mean, come on, you're a freaking mech! A MECH!! And one hit kills you?
A bit off topic but is Image Fight, (also an Irem game) any good?
