Pretty good review. And if you haven't been to that site, check it out, they have a crapload of old 80's commercials.

thanks for the link! I love x-entertainment, but I sure wish they'd fix the archive link so that it'd be easier to navigate through the early stuff.

In any case, it's a great site for any child of the 80s (just in case you're not familiar with XE yet).

Thanks a lot for that Greg! I never ran across that article before, but it was an excellent read.

I really hated that stupid Koopa turtle. The second one, I mean. The first one was just doing his job. The second one was mean to me.
    I feel the saaaaaame way.

I have been visiting XE for over a year. I just love those areticles, they are pretty much the only ones on the internet that I will read the whole articles.

And on the koopa thing, I remember doing that my first try ever, But now have a success rate of maybe 1 out of like 15. bah... no need to do it anyways, but still fun what symbol you can have s your lives...

I remember that my friend Seb had a lot more success with the koopa-and-stair +1 life trick than I ever did.

I'm not the only one who thought the "Celebrity Spotlight" section was total rubbish.

Looking back, the celebrity Spotlights are hilarious. Mostly in terms of the "celebrities" they got. Hey, look! The bailiff from Night Court likes Tetris!

Richard Moll was so above that.

I remember when they had David Faustino(sp?) from "Married with Children" in there...ya know, back when he tried to be a rapper.

Even when i was a kid i knew that section was made up.

Celebrity kids would like: "Oh boy I love (insert popular game)! I've been a fan of Nintendo for years!"

I think I got the Koopa trick to work on occasion and even then I think the most lives I got out of it were about 10 if that. I usually entered the Player's Poll contests on occasion, never won but fun to enter.

That NP#1 article is okay, but the other nes articles (linked on the left side at the top of that review) are gold. The Baseball one is particularly funny, and he's got some good nes stories from his childhood that any child of the 80's will be able to relate to.

Yeah I read a couple of those too, yes they are pretty good articles. He does many areticles and they are both comical and good at the same time.
