Default A rather bizarre piece of ebay spam ...

I am sure most of you have received the usual ebay phishing scams in your inbox ... but today I got an all-new and frankly disturbing piece of ebay-related spam . See what you make of this:

JUST CHECK GOOGLE OR SEARCH OUR SITE FOR ITEMS LIKE RED PHOSPHORUS FOR MAKING DRUGS OR BOMBS
WE DO NOT EVEN CHECK LISTINGS TO SEE IF THEY ARE LEGAL, AND EVEN WHEN WE DO OUR STAFF DO NOT HAVE A CLUE
AND TAKE OFF ONLY SOME OF THE DANGEROUS CHEMICALS AND
BECAUSE WE DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CHEMICALS WE EVEN TAKE OFF CHEMICALS BEING OLD LEGALY
BECAUSE WE CAN'T TELL THE DIFERENCE AND ANYWAY WE ARE NOT IN DANGER. THE ONLY DANGER WE ARE IN IS MAKING
    LOTS OF MONEY.

I THINK WE NEED HELP AS WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO STOP MORE THAN 50% OF ELEGAL CHEMICALS FRO MBEING SOLD
EVEN AFTER BEING REPORTED TO US.

So what? A kid can go to a gun show and buy a gun. As for the information on how to make bombs, you can easily find that stuff for free on the internet, if you wanted. Not everyone selling a "Kill Bill" Katana is a terrorist .

Not in my country, thank God. So seeing people selling lethal weapons on ebay does not particularly enamour me.

And chemicals such as mercury etc. should not simply be freely available. As much as I would love to buy me some magnesium ribbon to muck around with, these things should not be just available for anyone tom, dick or harry to buy. For good reason.

It's the price of living in a democracy. You can't pick and choose what information should be avaliable to the public and what shouldn't. the truth is many dangeous materials that can be used to make bombs have other uses, such as cleaners, fertilizers, industrial solutions, and so on.

They should at least require a license to purchase such items like they do to own a gun or drive a car.

The price of democracy is allowing kids to buy guns, dangerous chemicals and other lethal weapons??? No wonder half the world resents it!

I don't know where all of you guys live but where I'm from you can't legally purchase a gun without a license, that includes kids. So its not like Democracy is to blame here. Sure, we have the right to bear arms (unless that right has been taken from you because of a felony) but training is required and the weapons are tracked.
