Welp... good luck with the whole being broke thing
When guys come in here and say "60 AES games, first $30,000.00 takes em." I get worried.

Fear your words because they become your actions
Fear your actions because they become your habits

Fear your character because it becomes your destiny

Well it's that or buy a car! I can ride this Neo-geo right?

Yeah.. but what will keep its value after 10 years???

You gotta be hard core to collect for this thing. Overall, I love my Geo. My most played system and I got quite a few of em'.
I don't think the system itself will appreciate in value, but some of the games definately will. I have some games in my possesion that could easily fetch $800+ if I were to sell them today.
My advice is if you work @ McDonalds and live with your girlfriends mother and 2 kids w/one on the way, don't bother collecting this system.
But if your a single, financially comfortable old fart like me, go for it.

You will be hooked Trust me.
Thanks
It's only money. I really don't care how rare the game is, rather it's playability. I don't have a problem of throwing up to 750 on a cart, but hey i wanna play it first i guess.
When i get more into it, i will mod it or get it modded, i don't really see the need for the bios chip thing(is it that great?), just s-video and 2channel sound. I feel comfortable with the mods of the pictures i've seen.
Time to fire up the old weller
