    Default A PS2 controller i Recommend

I've been eyeing up the Gamester Phoenix Revolution for a while now. I'm normally skeptical about 3rd party products so i was weary to drop $24 on it but christmas cash made it worth trying out and all i have to say is WOW.

What makes this controller special is its modular units (d-pad, both analog sticks, and the regular buttons). they are interchangable so you can make the controller the way you want to use it and you can change it around when ever you want. Also the analog sticks have adjustable stiffness and an invert switch for FPS games.

The controller has a great weight to it, a nice cord length, and is surprisingly comfortable for being slightly larger than a regular ps2 controller.

its not much to look at it, but the idea seems innovative

Now thats cool. I may pick this up just for that feaure alone. I hate a loose analog stick. How would you rate the rest of the inputs? Are the buttons loose, too far apart or do they stick out very far? Is the D-pad very good for fighters?

You're in trouble, program. Why don't you make it easy on yourself. Who's your user?

everything space and size wise is almost comparable to the ps2 controller. its slightly spaced more to for room for the modules, not too much though, the buttons are nice and sturdy, the regular X, O, etc are a little smaller but the spacing is the same, doesnt have any major difference though. the L1, L2, R1 and R2 buttons are longer than the normal controller but they suit the index fingers better with the overall shape. And about the d-pad, it rolls like a charm imo so i think fighters (atleast 2D) should work nicely with it. all in all i think this controller feels better.

Where did you pick this up? I can't find any online merchants in North America that has it listed.
