Can't help you directly, but I did find a 'kind of working' Sunnyvale heavy Sixer. It's missing a switch, but I know I can fix that with a donor switch from a busted 2600.

My point being, depending on how badly you want one, you may wish to consider partially working or broken ones as well, and then restore, or have it restored. That's what I'm doing with mine.

Anyone know just how uncommon these are, if at all? I got mine from a guy with games for $10CDN ($6US!). I'm keeping mine for sure, and mine is the only one I've ever seen. I've seen many a sixer, but only the one heavy one with intact "Made in SunnyVale" sticker.

I'll have to take a look at mine this weekend, but I got mine from a store where I just traded them my extra 4 switch for a 6 switch. I remember a bright orange sticker (oh how I could ever forget) but I didn't take a look much beyond that.

I just sold my 6'er on ebay.. I only sold it because I have two absolutely mint 4 switches and the 6'er had the usual heavy use signs like the orange line around the switch area is rubbing off.. no reason to keep it if it isn't mint..

Raedon: Are you referring to a US manufactured 6, or just a woodgrain 6? I've seen many wody Sixes, but only the one SunnyVale manufactured heavy Six.

I'm in Canada though, so that may make them seem more rare to me....

edit: whoops.. my dead parts atari is a sunnyvale.. the one I sold is "made in Taiwan"

I don't know how to repair these or know anyone that restores them, so I was mainly looking for one in good condition, doesn't have to be mint or anything, just clean and working...oh, I was looking for the original one made in the US. Still PM me if you have info, thanks......
