Nice I had a similar season with QB Eagles both passing and running. I'm going to go for it again and take a picture this time.
Week 12 in TSB2k Niners are 10-0. Also been playing with the Browns after they started 0-4-1. Now they're 6-4-1 and I beat the only other undefeated team at the time, the Steelers.

Yes he is. We should all play a game with him to honor his retirement.Originally Posted by MikeBoh8

I had over 6000 yards passing once in that game. I don't remember who I was playing with, but I think it may have been with ELWAY.
One of the easiest ways to put a ROM on a SNES cart is to use Tototek's SNES flash cart, which is a cart that can be hooked up to your computer and burned and reburned over and over again with SNES ROMs.

I would still need somebody too do it for me since I lack any of the skills needed to do such a thing. I would love it if somebody could do it for me. Plus I don't want something sticking out of the cart. I want a new cart with a label like my NES one. I don't mind if I have to have a new one made every year or every other year (which is my plan). I'd be willing to pay $35 if someone could do it for me.
OK I wasn't sure were to post this but I was checking out the DP data base and I know they give + for recommended games and - for crappy games. I couldn't believe that my favorite game of all time didn't get a +from DP. It is by far the best football game on the NES and it paved the way for all football games to come. I don't see how this game didn't get a + symbol. I'm so comfused the only thing I can do right now is go play a game of Tecmo Super Bowl.
OK while many will be shelling out for the new Madden soon I'll be shelling out for a new NES Repreduction. The new Tecmo Super Bowl Roms are out and they are playing great. Right now there are two offerings over at Tecmo Repository ( http://www.knobbe.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=34 ) Depending on if you want a pre season Rom with rookies or if you want a post season Rom with stats based on last seasons results. Either way both seem to play well. I personally will be going with the 06 preseason Rom.
I will be having leonk (DP member) over at nesreproductions.com make me a new cart soon with the 06 roster. I will be making a new label with two versions. One with Chargers (underated RB) Ladainian Tomlinson on the cover and one blank available to anyone who wants to put whoever they want on the cover. I'll also be making a box print out available for download so you can fold and paste your way to completly new updated Tecmo Super Bowl.
Don't forget Tecmo Super Bowl is online and very active.
I want one of those too!!!Originally Posted by classicb
Do they make one for the original tecmo bowl?
That's great, hope they play well!

They seem to make one for every Tecmo Bowl version. Although only Tecmo Super Bowl (NES) gets regular updates each year. The rest of them get new versions every once in awhile. The best place to look for new roms is at the Tecmo Repository.Originally Posted by Daft Punk

I never really got into reciever stats but I'll play a season and see how big I can get Tim's stats.
Hey guys, I'm wondering if you could help me with a little Tecmo info...
I havent played Tecmo football since I was a kid, loving every second of it! However, I can't remember which version that I'd played as I never actually owned the game, I used to play it at a friend's. What were the major differences between the two games? Maybe some help from you guys can jumpstart my memory...
Thanks!

The biggest, most obvious difference between the two is the number of players on the field. The original only had eight per team, while TSB had the full 11. TSB had all of the NFL teams, while Tecmo Bowl did not. Original also limited you to four plays, TSB had eight. Lots of other differences, but that should be enough for you to find the game you want.

I'll just add that Tecmo Bowl had a password system and Tecmo Super Bowl had a very cool Season mode with stat tracking.
Visually their not that different but if that might help I have some screen shots in this thread

I have a prototype of the NES version. If you have a fan site with pictures and want to include this I can send you some pics. I'm more a fan of the snes version so I can't tell you how its different but I've been told there are slight differences between this one and the released.
