Default The New Adventures of Zak McKracken!

I recently came over this "remake" of the old classic Zak McKracken.
It was made by LucasArts fans. I said "remake" because this game is sorta like Zak McKracken 2. Its not the same as the first Zak McKracken game.
Anyways.. I started to play it and its realy good made. Great GFX and great sound! As i kept playing i got stuck
I need to steal the painting of Mona Lisa, but there is a guard in the way.
Ive tried everything i could think of!
So if anyone have played this please help me.

You can download the game here, its freeware:

PS: Also try out the remake they did of Maniac Mansion. Also a realy realy good remake!!!

I haven't played the remake version of Zak Mckracken and the Alien Mindbender, so I don't have the slightest clue on how to do that. :/

Yea, this game came out a while ago. It didn't really do all that much for me, as it felt like nothing but a bunch of fetch quests.

While I did finish it, it was not recently. Perhaps you could refresh my memory about what you have done so far?

Ok, i have gotten the mail and annie have been kidnapped. I traveled to the kidnappers and they want me to steal the painting of Mona Lisa.
I traveled to paris where the painting is, but there is a guard there who says the museum is closed. I need to remove him somehow.
    Any idea? Thanks

No flack, as i mentioned, this "remake" is not the same as the first Zak McKracken game. The walkthrough you gave me is for the first game.
    Thanks anyway

Well, much like the first McKraken game, this goal is not at all straightforward and will involve travelling from place to place, giving characters different items and recieving others in return, until you can finally get rid of the guard. You definitely can't do it right away.

well, i knew those 3, they just weren't worth mentioning imho, although thinking about it Cirque de Zale must be mentioned because it is a Monkey Island homage
