Walked into a local flea market and found an entire box FILLED with still-sealed Sonic the Hedgehog McDonalds Happy Meal Toys. Extra special bonus: These were toys tied into the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for the Sega Genesis. Grabbed the whole box (20-25 sealed toys) for $10. Not for sale at this time, but may show up at a 'con or 'meet someday.

Wow! I find! I walked into a very sketchy "Flea Market" this morning that is notorious for selling bootleg DVD's and fake IDs (I'm sorry... "novelty IDs"

I rounded the corner and found a VERY shappy space with some games in it. I found...

    (all Super Nintendo, all loose)

    Final Fantasy II
    Breath of Fire II
    Secret of Mana
    Secret of Evermore

    all for $20, no tax.

This place can also sell you golden tooth caps, 5 for $59

    Cheers

I wasn't sure whether to post in her or in "Weekend Finds Jan 9-10"...today's the 10th but it's not the weekend in my opinion...and this goes to the 15th which isn't midweek...things that make you go hmmmmmmmm...

Anyway, I got one game in the mail today which I'd forgotten about ordering (from Amazon.com's Marketplace program)...

XIII for the XBox...$9.98. A few of you may remember that last week I said I wanted to limit the number of games I bought this year to no more than 20 but this is already the 3rd game I've gotten this year...though they were all ordered last year. I believe this is all I have on order but I really can't get anything more now for at least another month...

    EB Games

Gradius III and IV (PS2, complete) - $15.00

    Toys R Us

Maximo: Army of Zin (PS2, new) - $6.98

EB is starting to piss me off. I go in and use the Cash For Your Stash coupon often, but the guy keeps trying to get me the damn warranty which is a rip-off IMO. So, I'm going to have to go cold turkey on shopping at EB...
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

At the base thrift store I got 2 complete Genesis games for $3 each - Shinobi 3 and Fatal Fury 2.

Also picked up a CD-X with 2 controllers (1 6 button and 1 third-party), video cable and the power supply tho the part that plugs into the console has to be replaced = $15. Tested and works great.

And last got a Pioneer DV-C302D 3 disc DVD player for $15. Had a return policy there so no risk. Got it home and it plays like a champ. Now to scour the thrift Weds for the remote. This things plays DVD burns, CDR, VCD, SVCD and is region free

And speaking of completing my 32x collection I was mega happy to find this on ebay last night....

Not too bad. Think I'm gonna head back to saver's now and pick up the boxed indiana jones & the temple of doom for the NES I saw.
