Sorry to start my own "Vs." thread, but I was playing both of these games this morning.
Activision's Robot Tank vs. Atari's Battlezone
I enjoy Robot Tank because it switches back and forth between day and night. During the night, you only see enemy tanks for a brief moment when they fire at you.
Battlezone clearly has better graphics, and there is variety in the enemies that you fight.
Both of these games could use a two player split screen mode but that's was probably beyond the limitatons of the VCS.
I give the edge to Robot Tank. I love it when everything goes dark and you have to hunt enemy tanks using only your radar.
Anyone else have an opinion?
