    Default I hate mini PS2s!!!

    I got a mini PS2 for christmas and put it in my car and the thing turns off after half an hour, it overheats like a pig, the big ps2 never had this problem! Dman sony cutting corners like this!

    I have one and it works great. I've left it on for an entire day without problems. Could the problem be your car, and perhaps where the unit is located?

    Yeah mine works like a charm and was accidently left on for 2 days straight, still works perfect.

    i think you right about the location in the car, but the big ps2 works fine for ever

    It would be working fine due to its BIG FAN thats drawing in the needed air to keep the unit cool. I really dont think that Sony planned for the PSTwo's to be installed ala Pimp My Ride as their main place of use.
    Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

    I have had a PSone in my car forever... hot, cold, whatever, it works great.

    Tho I do agree that the slim PS2's are kinda chincy. (never typed that word before, looks weird)

    Maybe I'm just an out-of-touch ass, but why would you have a game system in your car? Kid entertainment, ala one of those portable shut-your-ass-up-while-I'm-driving DVD players?
