    Default Sealed Virtual Bowling

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...164892136&rd=1

It's the first time I've seen a sealed Japanese VB game, I thought the individual games were never shrinkwrapped? Anyone here who knows for sure? Even if it does exist, I think it's stupid to ask $3750 for it, especially since this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
has just sold for less than a third of his price

It all seems a bit dubious to me, is this guy trying to rip us off with a "re"-sealed VB game?

What's up with that "New" sticker on the box? Used games shops in Akihabara are known to do that for new games they sell- did this guy just pick one up on a trip to Tokyo and decide to ripoff some schmuck when he got back home?

You are right. Japanese VB games were never shrinkwraped. And judging by the item location, I would bet my VB store display that it's Adol who's selling this. Recently there was a thread about him selling re-sealed NES games on Ebay, so I wouldn't doubt if he sealed this one himself too.

I hope this isn't adol, but judging from the text color and size it is...I'll check that against my old saved auctions.

    Look at this shit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

DreamTR had a copy of the same damn thing up once; it went for $50 (Damn, I wish I could've given him a better price for that... ;_;)

Yeah, I'm almost 100% positive it's him. Any time a Virtual Bowling cart comes up on Ebay, he's the one usually selling it. I swear, that guy has the market cornered on these things.

Maybe it's just because I'm a seller as much as a buyer but I have no problem with this. All businesses pass their expenses down to their customers other wise they wouldn't be in business for long.

Yes, but as far as I can tell it is not enforced whatsoever. In the UK certainly it is debatable whether that particular condition is legal, since UK law entitles vendors to charge to cover card handling fees if they wish. Paypal / Ebay have carefully re-worded their TOS to apparently circumvent that, but I have my doubts whether it would stand up to a proper legal challenge.

And I NEVER charge my bidders for the PayPal and EBay fees that I pay. I just know that I'll have to pay it, shrug, and move on.

Just like the VP game and book I sold....one went to Canada, and another went to France.

I only charged somebody Paypal fees once, and that was in an off-ebay deal for a high dollar item. Total extra charge came to about $5, which the buyer was more than happy to pay. Afterwards I felt kinda silly, since it turned out to be much less than I expected, but now I know so I don't sweat it now.
