    Default Storing Portables

I'm trying to figure out the best way to store smaller cartridge portable games, because I'm not likely to have game boxes for any or all of them (because as I said in the boxes thread, I hate them). What do you folks do for this sort of thing?

i keep mine on a shelf, open side down to avoid dust. best way is to search the stores or youe house for a little bin or case that will fit them well. most of the storage i have is created from spare parts from around the house.

Lynx game can be stored in regular Game Boy cases. I fit about three Lynx carts per case. Game Boy cases are cheap enough. Others can be stored fairly well in small tool storage containers available at most home centers. Game Gear games may be a problem, as they are huge! But I'm sure there are containers that would work.

Are tou talking about complete, boxed games or simple loose ones? For complete I just put them all in a shoe box and put it under my bed. As for loose ones, I just put a few in a baggie and poke a few air holes in them.

For lynx and TG-16, I use plastic trading card holders meant to be kept in 3 ring binders. I have them attached to my game closet door. Coresponding boxes are up on the shelf, out of the way.
