Using a Knoppix boot CD is always a good option if you need to get your computer to working order. I can burn you a copy if you'd like for a common 2600 cart.

Knoppix isn't always a good option, actually it's not that helpful unless you're firmiliar with it and that narrows that crowd to 1% of computer users? Good luck finding the resource cd though. I would say to try ebay as anywhere else will either charge you an arm and a leg or it will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Good luck again!
