hell yeah! grew up with him on the spectrum and slowly moved onto the Amiga titles... damn hard games thou, especially when your a kid!

There is also one dizzy i cant remeber the name of, where there was a huge hole in the ground with air blowing out of it, and you had to get weights to go further down the hole.... do you know which one it is as its bugging me!

I am surprised thet they haven't turned Dizzy into 3D yet... Dizzy was what really made CodeMasters back in the day, and I would have thought they'd have given him a "rebirth" perhaps?

I was half expecting a "Dizzy Collection" to appear on the PSone at some point... But alas not.

And forget Bubble Bobble and Pac Man... Fast Food was THE best arcade game of the time!

Oh yeah, I remember playing Dizzy on my Sinclair Spectrum +2. I also remember playing...what was it... Treasure Island Dizzy or something. And Fantasy Dizzy. Something like that. Great days.

Well, they very nearly did release Dizzy in 3D.

Yeah that sucks indeed, but if you can get your hands on an action replay you could save it.I still need one,i want it complete but you don't see them all to often.

As made apparent by the posters in this topic, Dizzy was huge in Europe, but he went pretty much unknown in the US. I'm guessing they haven't made any modern Dizzy game because they'd rather make games with worldwide appeal.

I never played a Dizzy game until I started collecting for NES. My boyfriend played one as a kid and really loved it, but we've yet to determine which game it was. O_o So far neither of the two we got are it. :(

I know that Dizzy was a popular game character in Europe, but he was completely unknown here in the States. Kinda like Oasis without the arrogant boasting. I'm sure these were all very good games, but they were a little lost on me. I don't think I ever warmed over to the European style of platform games, despite their stylish look. But that's just me.
