Haha.. they even get into the music of the future.. the hottest Skagcore bands.. to funny lol
Fear your thoughts because they become your words
Fear your words because they become your actions
Fear your actions because they become your habits
Fear your habits because they become your character
Fear your character because it becomes your destiny
Therefore: Thinking and nurturing positive thoughts, at any point in your life, can change your destiny.
Ah, that's precious.
"I usually start by showing them Toteki Aluminum, one of the future's most popular fight-and-chase games," the Ghost said. "It's far from the best available in 2016, but it always blows their mind to see the guy get hit with the falling sign while the drops of sweat fly off his face. You can see the whole scene, distorted, in each of the individual drops. That gives them a good preliminary idea of the graphics technology we're dealing with."
My absolute favorite line:
Classic."You know how kids are—a year is an eternity to them," the wraithlike specter said Monday during a visit to the Southfield home of 13-year-old Josh Kuehn. "So just imagine showing them something they'll have to wait 14 years for. Teasing them with a glimpse of the PS5 is the ultimate torture. They absolutely lose their minds. It's like saying, 'Hey, kid, you'll be an old man before you ever get to touch this.'"

Oh, how retrospective changes things. Funny how near to the truth some of the things in this humorous article were, and how far off some others were. For one thing, they predicted that the PlayStation 5 would be released in 2016 which is almost right. They were only off by 4 years when making this prediction eighteen years ago in 2002. In addition to that, they actually probably believed they were just being funny when they were talking about the reflections in the environments being visible and distorted in the sweat of the characters, providing true reflections of the environment dynamically around them in real-time back then. Surprise! Now we've got ray-tracing consoles with real-time lighting, distortion, and reflections at that small of a level, so there you go!
Oddly enough, this exact sort of scenario was (sort-of) turned into an SNL sketch:
(not sure if the sketch writer ever read the Onion article)
