I'm really wanting to get my first guide, but I need some help. I can either renew my subscription to EGM (24 issues for $24.97) or buy the guide. Is the guide "worth" more than 24 issues of EGM?

The only systems I collect in the guide are 2600, 7800 & NES, but those 3 alone account for over half of the 650 games I own.

I really wish I could get both, but a baby is on the way

Sorry Joe, was getting confused. I meant "global priority mail" heh...

Outside of couriers, there are two shipping choices from US to UK: air or surface. Given the choice between 4-7 days and 4-7 weeks (and the fact air is usually very little more costly than surface), you know which one I normally go for!

And yes, I was hoping to pick my copy up at CGE

This book DEFNITELY will not fit in a global priority mail envelope. The last book barely did (when I taped it up real good to keep it from bursting), so these will have to go standard air rate.

As far as "is this worth more than 24 issues of EGM", well, you MUST know my answer to that. If it helps you at all, there's much more in our 512 ad-free pages than in two years of EGM. And the systems you collect take up a lot of this book's real estate.

    Choose wisely.

    Default Change my address

Since I can't get noboy from DP to return my e-mails I'm forced to do this. I need someone from DP to e-mail me so I can give my new address for my preordered collectors guide because if it's sent to my old address it will never reach me, thanks.

There are two choices of sending overseas a book this size (besides Global Priority which would be ultra-expensive!)

Air mail takes about a week
    Surface mail takes 4-6 weeks

@molnars: I check my email several times a day! Either your email was a statement that didn't seem to require a reply or you're not sending it to the right email address: digitalpress@email.com

In any case, re-send your change of address, I'll take care of it.

@DP when shipping it out of the US are you going to mark the book as merchindise or as gift?
