I was hoping that there would be counters on the lists so that it would say how many games were owned for each system with out me having to slowly scroll down my list saying "1,2,3,4......1,062.... oh damn I last count?!". Maybe in future versions there can be a box that tells total games for each system owned, or just a box that has all the systems and zeros or N/A-s all systems that do not apply. I'll continue adding my collection slowly over the next couple days, but I'll also stick with my spreadsheeted Databases to help me keep track of my numbers and percentages as well as titles.

    Looking forward to updates.

One good reason not to post them...that, and the fact that there aren't any PC games. Would be nice to designate a list as private for only forum members.
You are startled by a grim snarl. Before you, you see 1 Red dragon. Will your stalwart band choose to (F)ight or (R)un?

Yeah, that's one reason I'm still maintaining my IGN list, pc games. Everything's pretty sweet although it seems a ton of genesis games appeared on my want list and I'm sure I checked "Owned". Weird. It also deleted a 32x want I had in there, must have been doing something while an update was happening?

Hmm, this doesn't seem to like FireFox at all...

Under FF, you can't sort the lists nor can you move past the first page of any search in the Online guide. Seems to work OK under IE, but a lot of us avoid that program like the plague

I'm using Firefox and it works just fine. I used to have the problems you describe, but haven't for months now. Using version 1.0...though I should probably upgrade sometime.

lol and you're wondering about sites not working? 1.0 is far better and out for months

about the private thing: i agree, would be a nice option, not that i need it right now, but you never know

about pc games: it's just too much work and a too big list imho

Just noticed that a gamecube game is missing....

    Alien Hominid.

It only lists the PS2 platform but I own it for the GC.

There are quite a few more recent games not on the GCN list. I would wait until the next DB update to post missing games.

Awsome! I am going to start liting my games!

I did DS first, and noticed that Wario Ware Touched ! is missing. Also Cube Quest, and that kaboom game for vectrex. I forget the name.

Awsome Joe, this is just another example of DP being the bets site on the internet.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text

I was one of the few people who actually tried Firefox beta, didn't like it, and stuck with IE. Since Firefox was officially released as 1.0, I tried it again and love it now. Definitely an improvement in many ways. Haven't had any such problems so far.

The database is great. I've already made my sad, little list. Looking forward to the loose/complete feature, too. Kudos.

This is very cool...again, many thanks to Joe and all behind the scenes. I've been working on the smaller collections first, but as the prospect of over 700 clicks for the NES stares me in the face, a question comes to mind...

Is there any way to automatically mark all items in a search as "owned", and then go back and unmark the few items you don't have? This would make the bigger lists much less daunting. Either way, this service is just another confirmation that no other site does as much for the gaming/collecting community as DP does!

    Kudos!

Indeed, that's an easy one and in our next batch o' updates. Glad you're already getting good use of this first generation tool! It's going to get so much better, too.

I'm getting a weird error. I did a search for all TG-16 games, except for non-U.S. releases and Homebrews. It gave me three pages of results. The first page was fine. At the bottom, it said Page 1 of 3, so I clicked Next. Then I got a blank search page that said "Page 2 of 1."

I went back to my original search query and tried it again and got the same result. Is it just me?

    A couple of suggetions:

I think it would be great if we could change pages from the top of the page. Now that we can update from the bottom of the page, we get bumped to the top after updating, and just have to scroll down again!

Also, if it was enabled so that a range of games could be selected, using the shift button, or some other mechanism, I think many would take advantage of it.

Double click listing would be useful. If I want to list games by system, I generally also want to have them listed alphabetically within each system too. Makes life a lot easier when looking through.

Which also prompts... shortcut links. Have a detection script to see what systems someone has listed and then produce links up the top/bottom so if you want, you can just see what they have for that particular system.

Whoever is in charge of the gamecube list has seriously fallen behind. Paper Mario, Donkey Konga, Alien Hominid, and Star Fox Assault are all missing, along with the Pokemon and Metroid Prime 2 demo discs. I can understand Assault, but the rest have been out for a while now.
