proto or just missing label broken cart

I have never paid attention to the NES, so Ims seriously asking, however to my untrained eye this is just a broken cart...

If that auction gets any bids I think I will start to take apart the old sports games that I have for NES and sell them as prototypes. Some of them work, so I should be able to get even more for them!
