"He'll bury you in a lunchbox!"
That was a great game..used to play it all the time.
My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that ROTT was the first doom generation shooter that actually left bullet marks in the walls (at least temporarily) That was pretty cool.
I know everyone messes themselves about modern games and multiplayer (Unreal, Halo, etc), but ROTT is, in my book, the best ever. Anyone that digs the multiplayer thing should treat themselves to it somehow, if they haven't already. I think it was the first to add more elements to the experience than just "deathmatch." Catch the Triad was impossible, though! ; )
Maybe this means we'll soon have a fully-functional ROTT for Winblows. Maybe something like ZDoom? *Messes self*

Actually, I had ROTT but I didn't care for it much. Some of the weapons were just ridiculous (like the drunken missle).
ROTT kicks ass Especially when you get shrooms and your character starts hallucinating
scooterb: "I once shot a man in Catan, just to watch him die."
This is excellent news!! I can't sing the praises of ROTT enough! I am giving a copy of it to my dad for Christmas since he missed out on it during the original run. I know he'll love it! Blowing things up with the drunk missile- W00T!
Yeah. A couple months ago I opened a shrinkwrapped RotT box to see the full version. I liked the shareware game better :|
Until I got to the end. The infamous "can't end the game" bug didn't stop me from seeing the ending...hehe.
/GOARCH !
RotT is pretty godly. Prequake FPSessessing at its finest.
