MVS Consolized is the board itself, just modded into a console by adding in PSU and AV or S-Video inputs like a normal console
Supergun, just let's you attach the MVS board, via plug and play
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
To expand upon this, the consolized MVS is just an MVS, while a supergun will allow you to plug and play nearly any JAMMA arcade PCB you want. Much more flexible, unless MVS is all you want to do.Originally Posted by Ghouls 'N Ghosts

Ah, thanks you all! I didn't realize you could use any Jamma PCB with a supergun. One last thing. What do you think a fair price is for each?
Consolized...estimated about $425+
Super Gun $325 + Cost of the board (Varies)

Now, this may also be a stupid question, but I figured that since there's already a thread about it....
How about stuff like Model 1, 2, 3, 3 Step 2, and Naomi? Could I play those on a supergun? Are they in any way compatible with JAMMA (Not sure what is and what isn't).
If I can play VF3 with a Supergun, I'm buyin' me a Supergun....

If you spend more than $200 on a supergun, then you're on some bad drugs. Further, you can build your own for even less than that.Originally Posted by Ghouls 'N Ghosts

Hey, thanks for specifying your outrageously overpriced supergun in the first place. If I knew you were talking about the MAS, then it all would've made perfect sense.Originally Posted by Ghouls 'N Ghosts

Hey, since you're all talking about Superguns...
ASSEMbler is in a spendy mood. He has bought himself a MAS Super Nova and has posted a review of it. He'll also be comparing it with an HGA supergun which they'll be sending him for review.
Check it out...
