This is one of the very few current gen games I'd like to play. Of course, I'd get a DVDR copy way before I'd pay that price.

There are MANY places you can still get this came factory sealed. You just have to look around. Just like with Gitaroo Man, although I would contest that finding a NEW Gitaroo Man now is harder to find than a new Rez. A store called GamesQuest Direct had a slew of backstock of New Gitaroo Mans for like $49 about a year or so ago and I bought some.
Anyway, back on topic of Rez, there was supposed to be a re-release of this game some months ago, but it never materialized. Anyone know the status of this?
Oh..and BTW...you dont' need a DVD-R backup of this game. The game disc itself is a CD, so you can just do a straight CD backup. HE HE HE!

Not much different, really... though at least CDRs are a tiny bit cheaper than a DVDR.

i still see rez around in retail stores. they want $60+ cdn for it though. other than that, i rarely see it.
You can get this for free on Dreamcast, no mod needed.
I've seen this a few times in stores but always passed on it because around the time it was announced there would be a rerelease the price seems to drop a lot. I do not know WHY it's that high now, but I might sell mine since I never play it anymore. From what I've heard the rerelease was just a rumor and is not schedueled to be released.
As I said in the Rez re-release thread months ago, a re-release of this game makes absolutely no sense and is not going to happen.
