you should already know my answer, MK2, by far is the best in the series. It built on MK by so much, adding more combos, another fatality per character, and some good comedy with the friendships and babalities.

I like the game so much, I bought the dedicated cab.

Mk 2 by far! Although it could never touch Super Street Fighter 2 turbo.

MK2 was the best and is the one i vote for but Deadly Allience has a lot of buzz with my friends and I.

I'm sorry, but Deadly Alliance doesn't compare to MK2. Sure it's a decent 3D fighter, but it's pretty much the same dial a combos that kinda brought MK3 down. Plus it's pretty unbalanced. If they are gonna have that impale move, everyone should have it. And only one fatality per character, that's just crap. Seems to me like the game was rushed a bit. I know it will never happen, but I hope if another comes out, it goes back to 2D.

The 3 styles per character is a good idea, I just think they could have done a better job with it.

2 has to be the best just because it went Ninja Crazy, no other game next to SF2 had the attention in my neighboorhood like this game did. As a result I got to meet many other crazy gamers in my area that I still hang out with and talk about those MK meetings. I also remember the mystery behind uncovering all the fatalities and backgroud deaths ect. At one point there were even kids selling xerox copies of moves for the newbies at the price of 1.00 just so they could play a few games of course half the moves they had on there did not work and some of them even had listed about 23 joystick move fatalities I can say the game had love .
MK3 was not bad also it was addictive in it's own way.

    Thanks

MK II for sure. Improved upon *every* facet of the original game and stayed fresh for months.

That said, I really like MKDA. However, like Butta mentioned, it does have its balance problems, especially with the impale move. Also, only *some* characters have a "reversal" move, and a few characters have more than twice the special moves of other characters. Definitely rushed to the stores for the holiday season, but still a very nice effort overall.

The costumes and character models are excellent, and thanks to the team for bringing back test your might, and adding test your sight - a take on the shell game / Tapper bonus round game. The Krypt exploration and training modes are also a welcome addition for the long term replay value.

What about MK Gold and GBA? Why can't we not vote for them?

MK Gold = MK4 on the DC. If you like MK Gold, vote for 4!

MKA on the GBA is the biggest steaming pile ever perpetrated on the videogame community. Even worse than SSSnake for the 2600. Yes, really.

What he said! Well except for the cab, don't have that yet! But I will have one someday do make up for all the money and time lost in the arcade when this one was out!
