Excellent score! It's the subtleties that matter.

Can't speak for this new proto version, but the original Cabbage Patch Kids: Adventures in the Park is quite a fun game. It's kind of a proto-Super Mario Bros. I played it for the first time in the late 1990s, but if I'd had it in the early '80s I don't think I would have been quite as blown away by SMB as I was. It surprised me to find a platformer this complex from the pre-NES days.

I could be wrong, but I believe somebody already posted this link in the prototype section of the board.

    Thanks very much folks!

As i wrote on the CPK page, i've just stumbled upon it. I didn't even tried it
with M.E.S.S. or ADAMem before converting it. It was only if i could "rip" the binary code (Huge thanks to the AdamDskEosViewer by Daniel Bienvenu) that i did get the binary and downsized it to 16K with an hex editor.

After, i tested it to see if the conversion worked, and to my surprise to see that this version is different than the Coleco released and Konami prototype version. It the same principle that a "sumguy" (still don't know who) converted (Super) Donkey Kong and (Super) Donkey Kong Jr from the ADAM version (just to name a few bootlegs).

Konami made a Coleco version of their "Athletic Land" and replace the major character with a CPK girl. (see here the original version: http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/softwareinfo/362 )

And not the CPK MSX game ( http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/softwareinfo/140) 'cause it's much more detailed than the Colecovision version.

Anyhow, hope you like the other "enhanced" (or Super) version of Cabbage Patch Kids for the Colecovision.

I'll try to make other ADAM conversions in a near future, especially DRAGON'S LAIR!!! That one i've been dreaming for ages to play it in cartridge format!!

Take care all and have fun!

Humm...you're absolutely right my friend! Stonic did released 3 versions of CPK but the link to the 3 roms and the screenshot on this link:

    http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46153

doesn't work anymore. So i can't compare his version with the one i've converted. Does someone did get the zip file ? It would be appreciated.

    Thanks !
