    Default 3DO blaster...it's hard to find yes...but $450???

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

Is this what a complete working boxed copy of a 3DO blaster goes for?? Not to much to reference back since it's quite hard to find, and I haven't seen one on ebay in FOREVER!.

Has anyone been fortunate to acquire one within the past year or so?

I heard they usually sold for even more than that on a good day. 700+, they are very, very scarce.

It's basically a 3DO on a board you stick in your PC like a soundcard or videocard, enables you to play 3DO games through your CDROM drive as if it were a console itself. Very cool, but I wouldn't want to use it these days for fear of the computer frying it.

I can remember it costing just as much if not even more than an actual 3DO, of course I could be wrong with the multiple Versions of the 3DO...

The Blaster would be useless for someone with a modern PC anyway, it takes an ISA Slot which most Mainboards haven't featured since 1999.

I hope the person who's buying this knows that it only works on a motherboard with an ISA slot. I've run into several problems trying to get a MOBO with those types of slots. That is one nice item though !!

I had a chance to get one of these for cheap last year....

They are rare, but I'm not sure it's worth THIS much. Is this a common item on EBay?

D'oh! The Wal-Mart by my house had a shelf of them a few years back trying to clear them out for around $20-$30. I should have grabbed them all!

Why is my hindsight always calling me a dumbass?

I remember looking into getting this years ago, and was told it would ONLY work with 2 Creative Labs model CD drives! Strangely enough, I happened to buy the drive which I still have, but never got around to getting the 3do blaster.

I heard that as well. In fact, I remember seeing it bundled with the drive.
